CHILD RAPIST SENTENCED TO LIFE IN JAIL
Nqobile Zondi ,a 26- year- old KwaZulu- Natal child rapist received a life sentence plus 10 years for house breaking in the Pietermaritzburg Regional Court this week. Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Thulani Zwane said that in September 2016, an eleven year old girl was at her mother's tuck shop when Zondi asked buy cigarette.
The victim went to fetch the cigarette and the accused followed her in the passage ,he pulled her into the room and raped her. Zwane said a case of rape was opened at Plessislaer police station where swift action by the investigators led to the immediate arrest of Zondi. The accused made several court appearances until his conviction and sentencing.
"Violent men are not allowed to stay in our society ,we will make that all those involved in crimes against women and children are sent to prison", Bheki Langa said.
This is a cruel world , nobody is trusted...where is the humanity? Men are the ones who are meant to protect us ,but now we do not feel safe and protected in this world because women are being treated as slaves...we are human beings , we need to be treated fairly and with respect. #RAPEMUSTFALL #RESPECTWOMEN .

People never learn... they know what is done to a rapist, how they're punished but they choose to do it anyway...

ReplyDeleteI wish i could double his sentencing ...I really do not understand some people because there are so many ways of having an intimate relationship without forcing yourself on anyone, this is cruelty. but am glad that justice was served.

ReplyDeleteThis is said as some victims of rape end up blaming themselves for what happened to them. They spend their lives thinking they could have done something to prevent what happened. That man deserves that life imprisonment.

ReplyDeleteHe should be sentenced more than that... How can he be so cruel. What does a helpless 11 year old know,that child still needs to be protected.Many more children will leave in fear and will grow up without trust towards men.
